Why Don’t All My Posts/Pages Appear in the Selection List When Creating a Test?

When you create a page-based test, Nelio A/B Testing doesn’t load every page and post on your website into the selection list.

Instead, the list initially shows only a small number of recent or commonly used items. This keeps the interface fast and responsive, even on websites with hundreds or thousands of pages.

Don’t worry—you can still select any eligible content on your site.

How to Find a Specific Page or Post

If the item you want to test isn’t visible in the list, simply use the search field.

You can search by:

• Title. Type the name of the page or post, or just a few keywords.
• URL. Paste the page URL (full or partial).
• Post ID. Enter the numeric WordPress post/page ID.

As you type, the list updates dynamically to show matching results.

Why Isn’t My Content Appearing?

If you still can’t find the content you’re looking for, check the following:

• The content is published. Drafts, scheduled posts, private content, and items in the Trash can’t be selected.
• The content type is supported. The available items depend on the type of test you’re creating. For example, a Product Test only lists WooCommerce products, while a Page Test lists pages.
• The content matches the search. Try searching by URL or post ID if the title doesn’t return any results.

Custom Post Types

Many test types also support custom post types.

If your custom post type is configured as testable, you can search for and select its content in the same way as pages and posts.
