Understanding the Overview Page

The Overview page is the central dashboard of Nelio A/B Testing.

Instead of simply listing your tests, it gives you a quick overview of your optimization efforts, helping you understand where you are, what deserves your attention next, and how your website is improving over time.

Whether you’re launching your first test or managing several ongoing tests, the Overview helps you stay focused on continuous optimization.

Optimization Score

At the top of the page, you’ll find your Optimization Score.

The score provides a quick indication of the overall health of your optimization strategy. Rather than measuring the success of a single test, it considers factors such as:

• the number of active tests;
• the coverage of important pages;
• recently completed tests; and
• remaining optimization opportunities.

The score isn’t intended to be a precise scientific metric. Instead, it’s a practical indicator that encourages continuous improvement and helps identify areas where additional testing may be beneficial.

As you run more tests and optimize more of your website, your score will evolve accordingly.

What shoud we test next?

One of the main goals of the Overview is to help you decide what to optimize next.

The Optimization Opportunities section highlights pages that may benefit from a new test. Recommendations are generated using the Optimization Engine, which analyzes your website and looks for pages that deserve attention.

Depending on your site’s configuration, recommendations may consider factors such as:

• your homepage;
• recently published content;
• high-traffic pages;
• important landing pages;
• pages linked from your navigation; or
• recently completed tests.

Each recommendation can serve as the starting point for your next test. If AI-generated suggestions are enabled, you can also use Generate test ideas to get test ideas tailored to a recommended page.

Running Tests

The Overview displays your currently active tests, making it easy to monitor what is running without navigating to the Tests page.

From here, you can quickly:

• review the status of your tests;
• check its progress; or
• access its results.

If there are no running tests, this section will show Pending Tests—i.e. tests that haven’t been started yet.

Recently Completed Tests

The Overview also keeps your latest completed tests within easy reach. This makes it simple to revisit previous results and review winning variants.

Optimization is rarely a one-time process. Revisiting past tests often leads to new ideas for further improvements.

Quota and Subscription

The Overview provides quick access to information about your current subscription and available testing quota. Monitoring your remaining quota helps ensure your tests continue collecting data without interruption.
