What Types of Tests Can I Create with Nelio AI?

Nelio AI can generate different types of A/B tests depending on the change it suggests.

Currently, AI-generated suggestions focus primarily on CSS & Text Tests, as these are particularly well suited to testing targeted changes to your site’s content and appearance.

For example, Nelio AI may suggest:

• rewriting a headline or paragraph;
• changing the wording of a call to action;
• making an important element more prominent;
• adjusting the appearance of an element; or
• refining other content or presentation elements that may influence visitor behavior.

However, Nelio AI isn’t necessarily limited to these types of tests. The type of test it creates depends on the suggested optimization and how that change can best be implemented.

You Don’t Need to Choose the Test Type

When you select an AI-generated suggestion and click Create Test, Nelio AI determines an appropriate test type and creates the test for you.

Depending on the suggestion, it can also prepare:

• the control and alternative;
• the proposed change in the alternative;
• the conversion goal and actions; and
• the appropriate test scope.

You can then review and modify everything Nelio AI has generated before starting the test.

If you want to run a different kind of experiment, you can always choose Create test from scratch and use any of the test types available in Nelio A/B Testing.
