I Just Activated Nelio A/B Testing. What Should I Do Next?

Congratulations! You’re ready to start optimizing your website with Nelio A/B Testing.

After installing the plugin and completing the initial setup, Nelio A/B Testing guides you through a short onboarding experience designed to help you launch your first meaningful test as quickly as possible.

Explore the Welcome Experience

If this is your first time using Nelio A/B Testing, you’ll see the Welcome screen.

From there, you can:

  • take advantage of a temporary quota boost during your first 14 days;
  • discover AI-powered optimization opportunities tailored to your website; and
  • prepare your first test in just a few clicks.

Review the Overview

Once you’ve completed the Welcome Experience, you’ll arrive at the Overview page.

The Overview is your optimization dashboard, where you can:

  • monitor your optimization progress;
  • discover new testing opportunities;
  • view running and recently completed tests; and
  • quickly create new tests.

Create Your First Test

When you’re ready, go to Nelio A/B Testing → Tests and click Add Test.

Choose the type of test you want to create, configure its variants and conversion goals, and launch it when everything is ready.

Verify That Everything Is Working

After starting your first test, it’s a good idea to confirm that variants are loading correctly and that page views and conversions are being tracked as expected.

If you’re working on a staging site, you can use the Debug Tools to validate your tests without consuming your testing quota.
