What If a Variant Doesn’t Look Like the Original?

If this happens, go to Nelio A/B Testing → Settings → Plugin Behavior and enable Use control ID in test variants.

This setting makes test variants use the ID of the control version when the page is rendered, which can help page builders load the appropriate styles and other page-specific assets.

Use an Existing Page as a Variant

If the issue persists, you can create the alternative version as a separate page using your page builder and then select that page as an existing variant when creating the test.

This lets you build each version independently with your page builder and can help avoid issues caused by automatically created variants.
