Is Nelio A/B Testing compatible with page builders for WordPress?

Nelio A/B Testing has been designed and tested on vanilla WordPress installations. This means that the plugin works perfectly fine with Gutenberg, WordPress’ default block editor. Therefore, if you create your content using blocks, you will be able to test everything without problems.

Regarding other page builders, Nelio A/B Testing should work properly with them. And, indeed, many users have reported that our plugin works well with visual page builders like Elementor, OptimizePress, SiteOrigin and Visual Composer.

However, the plugin may not load alternative content correctly under certain circumstances. For example, some builders generate CSS styles for each page you define, and these styles aren’t properly loaded by our plugin when displaying variants.

If you experience any of these issues, disable Nelio A/B Testing’s setting “Use control ID in test variants” and check if the plugin works afterwards. If it doesn’t, please feel free to contact us for help.

In any case, we strongly suggest that, before subscribing to any of our plans, you install and try the free version of Nelio A/B Testing first. If you think you’ve found an incompatibility issue, please let us know and we’ll check it out for you.
