How Do I Configure Nelio AI?

Nelio AI can be configured from the Recommendation Engine settings in Nelio A/B Testing.

To access them, go to Nelio A/B Testing → Settings and find the Recommendation Engine section.

Enable Nelio AI

Enable Use AI to generate test suggestions to allow Nelio AI to generate A/B test ideas for the optimization opportunities identified by the Recommendation Engine.

When enabled, you can go to the What should we test next? section in the Overview and click Generate test ideas on an opportunity to get AI-powered suggestions.

If this option is disabled, the Recommendation Engine can still identify optimization opportunities, but Nelio AI won’t generate test suggestions for them.

Use Google Analytics Data

If you have connected Nelio A/B Testing to Google Analytics, you can also enable Include Google Analytics data to improve Nelio AI’s suggestions.

This allows Nelio AI to use traffic information from the selected Google Analytics property when generating test suggestions, helping it provide recommendations that better reflect how visitors use your site.

The Google Analytics property currently being used appears below the setting. Click Change Property if you want to select a different one.

Using Google Analytics data is optional. Nelio AI can still generate test suggestions if you don’t enable Traffic Analysis.
