  • Style
  • Locations
  • Triggers
  • Conditions
  • Advanced

Let’s review each of them.

Style Settings

Settings in the Style section are potentially relevant to all users. Nelio Popups makes it easy to catch visitor’s attention and increase conversions with styled popups.

Within this section you can set the size of the popup, define where in the viewport do you want it to appear, select an opening animation, set the margin and padding values for the popup container, indicate if you want it to have a border or a shadow, and even play a sound when the popup opens.

Locations

Settings under the Locations section will help you define where in your site you want to display your popup. By default, your popup is set to be shown everywhere on your site. This means that each visitor landing everywhere on your site will see the popup.

But you can create complex condition groups to decide the locations in which your popup appears. Available conditions include selecting specific post types and post type instances, taxonomies, and even concrete URLs.

Triggers

A popup trigger is an event that makes your popup appear. In other words, a popup trigger is what makes your popup, well, pop up on a post or page of your site.

Since a popup trigger is what makes your popups appear, they are downright crucial for your popup to work. In other words, if you want your visitors to see your popups, you’ll need triggers for your popups to display.
