What is Nelio Content?

Nelio Content is a WordPress plugin that features an editorial calendar and a content assistant. It’s designed to help you to schedule, create, and promote your blog’s content efficiently. Our ultimate goal is to assist you during all the tasks involved in content creation and promotion, automating any tasks that can be automated and offering assistance on the rest. Nelio Content doesn’t give you additional work—it’s the perfect companion for running a successful blog and writing outstanding posts saving tons of time.

Editorial Calendar—All You Need, at a Glance

The Editorial Calendar is one of the most powerful tools included in Nelio Content. It offers a unified view of absolutely all your content (that is, posts, social messages, and tasks). It’s also the easiest way to create new content and reschedule your posts and social messages, simply by dragging-and-dropping them.

The calendar also includes some filters to help you focus on your task at hand. You can easily discover which social messages are related to which posts by simply hovering them:

Social Networks and Automations—Promoting Your Blog Is Easier Than Ever

Once you’ve finished writing a post, there’s still a lot of work to do. You know that its success doesn’t depend on its quality only—you have to make sure it gets the promotion it deserves, so that it can reach as many people as possible. That’s why Nelio Content includes social messages.

Nelio Content adds a new box in the post editing page named Social Media. There, you’ll find a timeline where you can schedule as many social messages as you want, aimed at promoting your content in social networks. These messages can be scheduled based on the publication date of your post, so none of them will be shared until you publish the post itself.

There’s no need to open multiple social networks and share your messages manually on each website. And you won’t need to use external apps to schedule messages either. Nelio Content integrates social message creation within WordPress, so that you can create them at the same time you create your posts. Don’t waste your time looking for titles or permalinks—Nelio takes care of this for you!

In addition to it, Social Automations does the hard work for you. Just create new content and fill the timeline of social messages to promote it with one click. The automatically generated messages will be based on social templates you can define and relevant sentences extracted directly from your content.

Quality criteria might not be the same for everybody. But we believe that seeking quality, as diverse as it might be, is always helpful. Tagging content properly, using images to illustrate your ideas, linking old posts in your blog to build a strong internal link structure, or linking to other blogs to offer different views on a subject are all examples of how you can create beautiful content.

To help you do this, in the right sidebar of the post editor, you will find Nelio Content Tools.

In the editor of any post, click on the Nelio Content Tools icon to access tools that will help you create higher quality content.

This includes an analysis of the quality of your posts while you create them. With Nelio’s quality analysis, you’ll have an easy-to-understand summary of all the things you should address before publishing the post. But they’re only suggestions! It’s up to you whether you honor them or not.
