How do I connect my Medium account to Nelio Content?

Nelio Content allows you to publish content on your Medium profile. Let’s see how you can authorize Nelio Content to publish on Medium.

Go to the Nelio Content Settings » Social Profiles page and select the Medium icon.

The following window will pop up:

Then, just follow the instructions described in the popup window. First, click on the Medium settings link and then click on the Integration tokens link at the bottom of the Security and apps tab on the Medium Settings page.

The following window will popup:

Enter a description name and click on the Get token button.

A new token you can use to integrate Medium with Nelio Content will be generated.

Then, copy the generated token and paste it into the Integration token field of the Nelio Content popup window.

Check the token before saving changes:

Finally, once the token is valid, click on Save Changes. Now your list of Connected Profiles will end up including your Medium account. From now on, you can create social messages and publish them using this new Medium connection.

In addition to it, you can now set the publication status of posts sent to Medium. This means you can choose to publish posts as drafts, giving you the flexibility to review and edit them directly on Medium before they go live. Just go to your Medium profile in the list of profiles and click on the Settings link. There you can select the publication status for the Medium posts:
