Nelio Content analytics includes information about the engagement of your content. Remember that you have to enable the analytics first in order to see this information.
This piece of analytics indicates the number of interactions that a content (post, page, or other) has received in total, since it was published. This total is the number that appears just below the word Engagement, as you can see in the previous image.
And below this number we find the breakdown by type of participation, including the following:
- The number of times the post has been shared on Facebook.
- The number of times the post has been shared on Pinterest.
- The number of comments received by the post in WordPress.
Note that the sum of each of these values forms the total amount you can see just below the word Engagement.
Why does not the engagement in Twitter, LinkedIn, Google My Business or Instagram appear in the analytics?
Nelio Content analytics do not include the number of times a content has been re-tweeted on Twitter because Twitter currently does not allow access to this information through external tools. As soon as Twitter includes this in its API, we will be happy to show it in Nelio Content. The same occurs with LinkedIn and Google My Business.
As for Instagram, this social network allows the publication of images only, not posts or another type of content identified by a URL, so it is not currently possible to extract an engagement value.
