How do I create a future action?
Future actions allow you to further automate your content strategy workflows. With future actions, you can schedule a set of actions to be executed in the future and automatically change something in your publications.

For example, If you want to stick a post, unpublish it, change its status, or change its categories and tags, to name a few examples, you can now do it easily with our plugin while creating or editing a post or from the Editorial Calendar and Content Board views, using Nelio’s post quick editor.
From the Calendar and Content Board
When you create a new post or edit an existing post in the calendar or the content board, and click on View Details you can specify the future actions that should be performed related to that post.

By clicking Add Action, the following form will open:

which will allow you to create the new future action. These are the fields it includes:
- Action. The first drop-down field contains a list of future actions for you to select the one you want to be performed.
- Additional fields. To include some additional information related to the action selected.
- Date and Time in which the future action must be performed.
The different future actions you can choose from are:

- Change status action: to specify a new status of the post on the date and time selected.

- Change terms action: to specify whether you want to add categories or tags, delete categories or tags, or replace the current categories or tags of the post with the new ones selected at the selected date and time.

- Stick content: to specify whether you want to place the post at the top of the front page at the selected date and time.

- Unstick content: to specify whether you want to remove the post from the top of the front page at the selected date and time.

Once all fields are filled, click on Save to create the future action.
