As you may be aware, Twitter has implemented significant changes to its API support of third-party tools, such as Nelio Content. This is resulting in temporary access limitations to Twitter and you may find that the publication of some messages has failed (shown crossed out in the calendar) and clicking on any of them displays “Error! Request failed with code 429” meaning that Nelio Content has excedeed the maximum number of requests allowed for a specified time period.
We understand that this may be disappointing news for those of you who rely on Nelio Content for your social marketing efforts. We have explored various options to continue supporting Twitter as before but unfortunately Twitter has changed dramatically its terms and pricing.
In order to be able to offer you the same service you had before, we would have to subscribe to the Twitter Enterprise plan. This would have a huge impact on the price of our Nelio Content service and we are not willing to compromise the value you receive from Nelio Content.
Since it is unfeasible for us to do so, we are working in a different alternative to provide you a means to continue publishing on Twitter. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding during this transition period.
Note that you will be able to continue sharing your content as usual in Facebook, LinkedIn, or Mastodon, to name a few. Moreover, we are excited that new features for auto-sharing are comming very soon which will provide you with more options to share your content and expand your reach.
Thank you for your continued support, and we will keep you informed about any further developments.
