However, what are the numbers considering the most rapidly growing business? If we reduce our analysis to the US, we can look at the Inc. 5000 report published yearly by Inc. magazine. The report includes a ranking with the 5,000 fastest-growing companies (privately held) in the United States.

With all the information, we asked ourselves the following question: does WordPress have the same market share in this companies? That is, are 1,200 (out of 5,000) using WordPress? And are the numbers different depending on the specific industry we focus on?
Well, after analyzing all the data we’ve discovered that the numbers are quite different! More than 40% of the fastest-growing companies’ websites from the 2014 Inc. 5000 are in WordPress. To be more precise, there are 2,063 companies that use WordPress to power their websites. And, in my opinion, most of these companies have awesome and gorgeous websites!
As you may already know, learning by example is one of the best ways to take ideas of possible A/B Testing experiments you can create to improve your website. So, if your dream is to be included soon in the @inc5000 list, you should take a look at their great websites.

From the 5,000 companies listed in The 2014 Inc. 5000, 453 companies correspond to the Advertising & Marketing Industry. This represents the 9.06% of all the companies and the second largest industry, after IT services (with 734 companies, 14.68%).
What about the usage of WordPress? Is it a 24%? Well, good news for WordPress lovers here: Almost 50% of Advertising and Marketing companies listed here are in WordPress!
