WordPress has undoubtly become the most popular content management system, as you can see in the following video that shows the evolution of its use (source: W3Techs). In 2019 we commented that 32.5% of all websites—today, WordPress is used by 43.1% of all websites, which represents a market share of content management systems of 64.2%.
Below I show you 75 official websites (some posthumous recognition) made in WordPress from music and cinema celebrities. These websites showcase the work done by the artist and/or share news about them and promote their songs, albums, movies, concerts, etc. Some also include a store to buy merchandise. And exceptionally you will see that some websites are exclusively to promote a cause or the foundation in which they participate.
All of them are characterized by displaying very visual content and different from what you find in the vast majority of business websites. It is worth taking a look at them for inspiration on how to improve your website design.
